The Trust purchases the annual travel pass on your behalf, with the cost spread across 12 affordable monthly instalments, deducted directly from your salary through payroll. Please note, these deductions are taxable as the scheme is not a salary sacrifice arrangement.

Taxi Discounts

Three of the taxi firms we work with also offer staff discounts, for staff to use for their personal journeys. 

You can get a 10% discount on journeys booked through their apps by entering the appropriate discount code.

Radio Carlisle Taxis: 15% discount when using the Radio Carlisle Taxis App using promo code “NHS15”, which can be used for (a) pre-approved work-related journeys and (b) personal / social journeys.

Blueline Taxis: Go into the ‘Discounts’ section and enter ‘CNTW10’ and this will activate the 10% discount. This has to be done each time the App booking is made for CNTW staff to receive the discount.

Phoenix Taxis: Please press the ‘Promo’ icon to be able to enter your promo code. The promo code is ‘ntwdiscount’ for a 10% discount on all bookings. Please note that discount codes are case sensitive.
