By joining the network you will be given an opportunity to make a real difference and:

  • By being visible we will be able to support not only colleagues but also service users who identify as LGBT+ and be positive role models.
  • Ensure that the needs of all LGBT+ service users are identified and met by educating other staff on issues around gender, sexuality and pronouns.
  • You will also advise the Trust via the Network if you become aware of any direct or indirect discrimination towards staff and service users.
  • Being part of the Network will give you the opportunity to engage in activities that educate and inform staff and service users about LGBT+ issues. You will also be part of the process to embed the philosophy and values of the Trust around respect into everyday use.
