The company recognises that moving from work to retirement is a significant life event and wishes to support employees to ensure this transition is smooth and enjoyable.

The company have a range of supporting mechanisms in place to ensure a flexible approach to retirement can be taken by staff including:

• Step down arrangements: staff can step down to a different role to reduce levels of responsibility whilst remaining in employment
• Wind down arrangements: staff can remain in their current post but reduce their working hours or days they work
• Retire and re-engagement: all cases are considered on a case by case basis and on the needs of the company at that point of time.
