Total Rewards Statement

Your Total Reward Statement (TRS) for the 24/25 financial year is now live. TRS finalises at the end of the financial year, and an updated statement will be released in August of each year.

What is it?
The NHS Total Rewards Statement (TRS) is a personalised statement that provides you with a comprehensive overview of the value of your employment package, including your salary, benefits, and pension contributions. To find out more about Total Rewards watch  these short videos from NHS Employers.

What are the benefits of using it?
There are many benefits to using the NHS TRS, including:

Understanding the value of your employment package: The TRS provides you with a clear and concise overview of all of the financial benefits that you receive from your employer, including your salary, allowances, pension contributions, and other benefits. This can help you to better understand the value of your job and to make informed decisions about your career.

Planning for the future: The TRS can help you to plan for your future by providing you with information about your pension benefits and how much money you may receive in retirement. This can help you to make informed decisions about your savings and investment goals.

Making comparisons: The TRS can be used to compare your employment package to other jobs in the NHS or in other sectors. This can help you to determine whether you are being compensated fairly for your skills and experience.

How do I access my TRS?
The easiest way to access your Total Reward Statement is through ESR, where you can also access your payslips and P60s. You can also access your TRS through the NHSBSA website. To do this, you will need to create a Government Gateway account. Once the account has been created, you can sign in and view your TRS.
