MoneyHelper Service – Financial Support Line

We’ve been working with the MoneyHelper, an organisation who work to improve people’s financial wellbeing across the UK, to provide you with free, independent support.  Based on calls to their support lines, we’ve picked out some of the top tools and resources to help you.

NHS staff can call the dedicated NHS financial support line on 0800 448 0826 for free and impartial money advice, help sorting out debts, credit questions and more. The support line is available Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

There’s also GOV.UK where staff can receive free, confidential and independent advice on dealing with debt problems. We recognise this can have a negative impact on your emotional and psychological health which can then also impact on your physical and social wellbeing.

Staff can access impartial, confidential advice from qualified counsellors via our Employee Assistance Programme provided by Vivup, who can help you with many different issues, including anxiety, bereavement, stress, depression, workplace issues, trauma, relationships, finances, and family difficulties.

CNTW staff can call 0800 023 9324, available 24/7, 365 days a year.

A wide range of resources is also available online including self-help workbooks, debt advice, a mental health app and more.

Our Workforce Development Team said ‘We will continue to actively gather and utilize feedback from our staff, along with our wellbeing data, to shape the support we provide.
