Colleagues have organised a number of summer events over the next few weeks, inviting patients, carers and staff to join in and have some fun whilst fundraising for SHINE! There will be summer-themed activities, games, refreshments and a chance to win some great prizes. Take a look at the list below for more details.
Summer Sports and Fun Afternoon, St. George’s Park
Open to patients, carers and staff – join us for games like tug of war, penalty shoot out and live music, refreshments and a ‘design a summer themed t-shirt’ competition! More details in the Events section on the staff intranet.
Hopewood Park 10 year Anniversary
Join us on 24 August to celebrate 10 years of Hopewood Park, from 11am-3pm! There will be a range of family friendly activities, including ‘beat the goalie’ and ‘hook a duck’. There will be a number of stalls including food, cakes and a pop-up garden centre with plants grown by the Rehabilitation Gardening project on site. All welcome including the local community.
Walkergate Park Summer Fundraiser
The Walkergate Park Annual Summer Fundraiser is back this August! Organised by the STARR Team, there will be a number of stalls, home-baked goods and some fantastic prizes to be won in the raffle and tombola. Patients, carers and staff and families welcome – please find further details in the Events section on the staff intranet.
